  • It starts by sitting down for a professionally guided interview where you’re the main character. We’ll ask about the stories that define your life in a simple and heartfelt 60-minute interview.

  • You bring the legacy, we’ll bring the lighting. Our professional interviewers will set up any camera, audio and necessary lighting gear at your home base.

  • Whether it’s a personal treasure or a family keepsake, video capsules are great to watch at family gatherings, reunions, and anytime you want to bring loved ones closer together. Plus, since the video is easy to duplicate and share, so each family member can have their very own copy to cherish!

  • We set up everything in the comfort of your home, including cameras, audio, and any necessary lighting to make you look great. All you have to do is supply the space and the stories.

  • Your exact interview date is subject to availability. We kindly ask that you schedule your interview within 3 months of purchase to ensure timely planning.

    • Don’t have a specific topic in mind? No problem! We’ll come prepared with a list of engaging questions and an approachable style that encourages meaningful, reflective answers.

  • You have nothing to worry about. With lighting and a little movie magic, our team will help to make your space feel cozy and cinematic. And remember, everyone wants to hear from you (not your home).

    • Absolutely! If you’d prefer to lead the conversation, we’re happy to act as camera operators while you conduct the interview.

    • We’ll still provide you with a questionnaire to help guide your time with the interviewee.

    • Note: There’s no extra charge for you to act as the interviewer, but if you’d like to be featured in the video conducting the interview, an additional fee will apply.

    • The interview itself lasts approximately 60 minutes.

    • From setup to breakdown, you can expect us to be at your residence for roughly 3 hours and 30 minutes.

  • You can expect to receive your video capsule roughly 6 weeks after your interview takes place.

  • GIFT CERTIFICATES ARE VALID FOR 2 YEARS FROM THE PURCHASE DATE. After this period, the certificate will expire and become non-redeemable. Thank you for understanding.

  • Purchases are transferrable upon request and must be approved by Napa Video Capsules.
